Does Vince Young to the Miami Dolphins make senses? The other day I wrote that Donavon McNabb might be a good fit with the Dolphins, but a comment left on the blog made that point that Vince Young would be a better fit. I have to agree that Young would be a better fit for the Dolphins compared to McNabb.
Even though Young isn’t your prototypical pro-style offense QB, he still has the ability to make plays when his mind is in the right place. The Titans have already said they are done with Young and are looking to trade him which is perfect for the Dolphins, as they are in the quarterback market.
The Dolphins offense is very conservative which fits Young’s style of play; he isn’t going to throw the ball down-field 40 times a game. Young would be able to run this dummied down offense better then current Dolphins quarterback, Chad Henne, who has shown an inability to be a even a mediocre NFL quarterback.
Chances are that very few teams will be interested in trading for Young because of his mental issues. I bet the Titans would give up Young for a 4th round pick in the 2012 draft, which is pretty cheap for a potential franchise quarterback. If the Dolphins had to give up a 4th round pick to get either Young or McNabb, they would have to go with Young because of the potential he has.
So what do you think; Is it McNabb or Young for Miami Dolphins in 2011-12?
I hope the Titans widen up and keep this “Winner.”
Definitely not Young. His lack of maturity hurts him. Donovan McNabb would be okay for a year, maybe or maybe not.
Vince young needs to become a dolphin..with the proper coaching n treatment he can b the next Vick..look how Vick turned his life around..I believe young can do the same!!
