New Jaguars Owner said he would have Drafted Tim Tebow

New Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid Khan said in an interview he would have drafted current Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow if he was the owner when Tebow was available in the 2010 NFL draft.  I am not sure why the Jaguars didn’t draft Tebow, but instead the Jaguars drafted Tyson Alualu with the 10th pick .  If the Jaguars would have drafted Tebow their attendance issues would have gone away and the national spot light would be on the Jaguars instead of the Broncos.  To make matters worse the Jaguars used the 10th pick in the 2011 draft on Blaine Gabbert.

I’ve always said the Jaguars 2 biggest mistakes have been the firing of Tom Coughlin and not drafting Tebow when they had the chance.  Will Gabbert or Alualu ever be able to make the same type of impact that Tebow would have in Jacksonville?  If your the Jaguars you have to be sick knowing you lost out on all the money from the merchandise, ticket sales and national exposure Tebow would have brought to their team.
