Should Darren Sharper Start for the New Orleans Saints?

DarrenSharper

Should Darren Sharper start for the New Orleans Saints in 2010?  Or how about the real question of should Sharper be giving his job back without question when he returns from injury?  Sharper was the leader of the defense in the Saints Superbowl run, but in 2010 2nd year man Malcolm Jenkins is looking to take Sharpers spot. I say that Sharper is the Saints free safety until proven other wise.  The guy led the defense that wasn't great, but was good enough to win the big one last season.  … [Read more...]

The Saints need to Resign Darren Sharper

If the New Orleans Saints do not resign free safety Darren Sharper this off season they are making a huge mistake and the defense in 2010 will take steps back.  In last years Superbowl run Darren Sharper was the glue that kept that defense together and I do not see anybody on the Saints  that can take his place. If the Saints decide that paying Sharper big money is out of the question then the Saints will not repeat as Superbowl Champions in 2010.  I do not care if the offense sets … [Read more...]

Drew Brees thinks Eat that Chargers

drew-brees

Last night while watching the game I had to think about how Drew Brees wanted to win a Superbowl for both the New Orleans Saints and to rub in the fact that the San Diego Chargers got rid of him because of a injury he got in his last game with the Chargers. San Diego in 2006 cut Drew Brees thinking that he was washed up and would be unable to lead them to a Superbowl. Well Drew Brees did lead a team to a Superbowl while the Chargers watched from there homes thinking that maybe they shouldn't of … [Read more...]

New Orleans Saints Can beat the Vikings If

If the New Orleans Saints want to beat the Minnesota Vikings this weekend they must do a couple things right.  First they have to be able to stop the Vikings pass rush and Give Drew Brees time to throw.  If they cant protect the Quarterback and they let the Vikings put pressure on Brees its going to be a long day.  They have a fast paced offense, but the last time they faced a defense that could put pressure on the quarterback they played the Dallas Cowboys and got beat 24-17 and the Cowboys … [Read more...]

New Orleans Saints Not Bringing Back Bush

The New Orleans Saints are rumored not to be resigning running back Reggie Bush next season.   For what they are paying him 8 million dollars a year and he is only averaging 9 touches a game I can see why they will not resign him.  That's a lot of money for a player who has little to do with the overall success and does not get many touches.  Bush was the 2nd pick coming out of USC a couple years ago.  He had much hype coming out of college.  Many people thought the Houston Texans were … [Read more...]

The Saints Prove they are legit

Yesterdays game between the Saints and Dolphins was the tale of 2 half's. The first half was dominated by the Miami Dolphins in which people thought the game was over in the first half. Oh were the fans wrong. The Saints scored late in the half which kind of turned the momentum around. After the second half started though the Saints were on a mission to keep the perfect record they had in tact. Not only did they come back to take the lead in the second half they won by double digits. So this … [Read more...]

The New Orleans Saints and New York Giants Told Us Alot

The New York Giants got beat badly yesterday in there showdown with the New Orleans Saints.  The Saints made the Giants step out of there game plan the try and play the game the way the Saints want you to play. Playing catch up by passing the ball. The Giants are a running team that want to smash the ball down your throat, but then hit you with the play action pass down the field. This form of playing football has proven over time to be very effective, but yesterday the New Orleans Saints did a … [Read more...]

Can the Saints Continue This Run?

New Orleans Saints

With only being in week 2 of the young NFL season I want to say that the surprise team is the New Orleans Saints and there ability so far to score at a record pace and pretty much keeping teams at bay with some improved Defense. The first game against the Lions was a win that most thought they would get so I really don't put much into that win, but this weekends win against the Eagles was a great win. The Defense creating turn overs which is very important in the NFL. The only thing about this … [Read more...]
