Peyton Hillis looks to be ready for week 4

Peyton-Hillis

Peyton Hillis returned to the Browns practice facility Monday and looks ready to play in week 4 according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.  Hillis missed Sunday’s game against the Dolphin after showing up to the stadium ill.  The Browns still beat the Dolphins, but only mustered up 70 yards on the ground without Hillis.  It was the right call to send Hillis home since the Browns won the game, but people might have questioned the move if the Dolphins had won. … [Read more...]

Is the Madden Curse Already Affecting Peyton Hillis?

Peyton-Hillis

Is the Madden curse already affecting Peyton Hillis?  It may seem that way as  Hillis felt something in his hamstring today in practice according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Could this be the beginning of an injury plagued season for Hillis?  This is something the Browns did not want to hear about their brusing running back. Is Hillis the next Victim of the Madden curse?  Or is this just a freak accident the media and bloggers will blow up into something bigger then it is?  Some people say … [Read more...]

The Browns Looking To Sign Terrell Owens?

Terrell_Owens_89615902

When the NFL season officially starts will the Cleveland Browns look to sign veteran receiver Terrell Owens? The Browns need help at the receiver position, but is a 37 year old T.O the answer or even worth the hassle? Owens is currently recovering from an ACL tear and might not be ready for the season.  Even if Owens says he is ready to play I doubt he’ll be the same after this surgery. The Browns would be better off looking else where in terms of help at the receiver position.  They … [Read more...]

3 Reasons Why The Cleveland Browns Will Trade For Kevin Kolb

Kevin-Kolb

The "it" player this off season has been Eagles backup quarterback Kevin Kolb, who has been rumored to be on the trading block to multiple teams.  The one team we haven't heard in the discussion is the Cleveland Browns.  Here are 3 reasons why the Browns might be the actual team to get Kolb from the Eagles. The Browns could use the extra 1st round pick they got from the Falcons and trade that to the Eagles for Kolb.  The pick could be anywhere between pick 20 and 32 in the 2012 draft. … [Read more...]

Does Jake Delhomme have a future with the Browns?

Jake Delhomme

Last season the Cleveland Browns brought in Jake Delhomme to be the starting quarterback for the 2010 season, but injuries forced Delhomme to sit the bench most of the season and watch rookie Colt McCoy take his job.  Going into the 2011 season do the Browns bring back Delhomme to be a backup to McCoy?  Does Delhomme want to come back to Cleveland to sit the bench? I am not sure that Delhomme has the ability to be a starting quarterback anymore in the NFL.  The Browns will most likely cut … [Read more...]

3 Reasons Why I Will Root For the Cleveland Browns In 2010

browns-stadium1

The Cleveland Browns have come across a bad streak of luck in their short re-birthed franchise life. I normally do not care about the Browns, but this year I hope they actually win. Here are the 3 reasons why I will root for the Browns in 2010. Lebron James was the only bright spot in Cleveland sports and now that he is gone, what positive things do the Cleveland fans get to cheer for? That's where Browns come in.  The Browns can be the team that fans can be proud of.  Even if the Browns … [Read more...]

Browns Get Quarterback of the Future in Colt McCoy

I love this pick by the Cleveland Browns.  Colt McCoy will lead the Cleveland Browns into the future and win a ton of games.  Mike Holmgren waited a long time to draft this guy, but I think he will love this guy on his team.  The one thing about Colt McCoy is that he is a winner and should help rub his winning ways off on the Browns.  I am suprised that Colt McCoy fell this far in the draft.  These NFL GM's are way off based in there opinion of McCoy and most of the teams that passed … [Read more...]

Mike Holmgren’s First Mistake was Keeping Eric Mangini

Eric Mangini

First off let me say that I love Mike Holmgren and what he did for the Seattle Seahawks while being the coach, but since taking over the Cleveland Browns I must say his first mistake was keeping coach Eric Mangini. I will go on the record and say that Mangini is a horrible football coach and his players do not respect him or want to play for him. The reports that have come out about how Mangini treats his players and runs his teams are pretty wild and this cruel style does not format into … [Read more...]

Browns Coach Saying Injury was Faked

With the Browns sucking this year badly it does not surprise me that Cleveland's Coach Eric Mangini said that the injury to Lions quarterback Matt Stafford was fake when his team lost. Eric Mangini is just a sore loser knowing his team lost to one of the worst teams in the NFL. This happens when your a loser and cant win any games. I saw the play when Stafford got hurt.  He took a shot and just by the looks of it looked like it hurt.    For Mangini to say this was out of line. The game … [Read more...]

Holmgren To The Browns Is Not A Good Fit

With the Cleveland Browns being a franchise that is in disarray the rumor mill has brought out that former Seattle Seahawk coach Mike Holmgren might be interested in the GM job there in Cleveland.  When I first heard this I wanted to call up Holmgren and tell him not to do this.  The Cleveland Browns are a horrible organization and would never give him the support or the money it would take to create a winner there.  If you look at the NFL and the teams that are bad year in and year out you … [Read more...]
