Is the Kevin Kolb era over already with the Cardinals? It could be with how 2nd year quarterback John Skelton has played while Kolb has been sidelined with injuries. The Cardinals have won 4 out of the last 5 games under Skelton. Sure Skelton’s numbers aren’t great in the 5 games he’s played this year, but the most important stat when it comes to quarterbacks is wins. The Cardinals gave up a lot for Kolb this off season and then to have him get hurt and have the back up quarterback … [Read more...]
Should the Cardinals Sign Braylon Edwards?

Should the Arizona Cardinals sign Braylon Edwards? If the Cardinals are trying to contend for the NFC west this year then yes the Cardinals should sign Edwards right now. With the Cardinals trading for Kevin Kolb and signing Matt Heap; they are looking to ramp up their passing attack and Kolb is going to need a weapon other then Larry Fitzgerald and Heap to throw too. If the Cardinals go into the season with only Fitzgerald and Heap; they could be in trouble. By bringing in Edwards; … [Read more...]
Todd Heap Signs with the Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals have signed tight end Todd Heap to help bolster the receiving weapons for new quarterback Kevin Kolb. Heap was cut by the Ravens earlier this week and the Cardinals didn't wait long to sign the 10 year veteran. Heap still has a few good years left in his career that the Cardinals are banking on. The Cardinals still need to add a few more receivers to the mix to help take the pressure off Larry Fitzgerald. If the Cardinals use Heap right; he should have a big year … [Read more...]
Cardinals Targeting 4 Different Quarterbacks

For so long the Kevin Kolb to the Arizona Cardinals was thought to be a done deal, but Kent Summers is reporting the Cardinals are targeting 4 quarterbacks instead of just Kolb. The other 3 quarterbacks include Matt Hasselbeck, Kyle Orton and Marc Bulger. Both Hasselbeck and Bulger are free agents and the Cardinal would have to trade for Orton, but at price much cheaper then what they would have to give up to the Eagles to get Kolb. If the Cardinals were smart they would stray away from … [Read more...]
Kevin Kolb Is Not Kurt Warner

If the Arizona Cardinals trade for Kevin Kolb and think he is the answer to replacing Kurt Warner they might be sadly mistaken. To put it bluntly Kevin Kolb is not Kurt Warner and never will be. Its impossible to replace a legend like Warner who was able to hide many of the Cardinals weaknesses. If the Cardinals think bringing Kolb in and the good times will instantly return shouldn't get their hopes up. Do the Cardinals need a quarterback? Yes they do, but giving up a first round pick … [Read more...]
Can Matt Leinart lead the Arizona Cardinals?

Can Matt Leinart lead the Arizona Cardinals to the NFC West title in 2010? The Cardinals better make there vaction plans during playoff time becuase Lennart does not have the ability to lead the Cardinals like Kurt Warner did. The Cardinals will take 3 steps back this season. The offense will be more balanced becuase that quick passing style that was so effective for the Cardinals while Warner was under center is no longer there. When Leinart was put into ball games last year he showed … [Read more...]
Sad to See Kurt Warner Retire
Today Kurt Warner officially retired from the NFL after playing 12 seasons. I am really sad to see him retire because first he is a great quarterback and plus he was always the underdog who went to 3 superbowls with 2 different teams. How many quarterbacks can say that? Some quarterbacks don't go to any Superbowls and this guy went to 3. Even though he only won 1 his teams he played for were great. When Warner took over for the injured Trent Green in 1999 nobody knew who Warner was, … [Read more...]

Tomorrows showdown between two NFC West title contenders meet up in at Quest Field in what could turn out to be a huge game for both teams. The Seahawks need to win this game for the fact they are 2-3 and a win would bring them back up to 3-3 and in the hunt again for the division title. The Arizona Cardinals need this game as well for if they lose there record will drop to 2-3. The winner of this division game puts themselves in the front runner seat to compete with the 49'ers. The return of … [Read more...]
Is the Offensive Line Holding Back the Cardinals

When I watched the Game Monday night I noticed something that is really hurting the Arizona Cardinals. The Offensive line cannot pass protect. When Kurt Warner had time to throw the ball, receivers were normally open in space. More times than not though Warner was pressured and did not have to throw the ball down the field. Kurt Warner is still one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL when he has time. So far this year he has been sacked 7 times in 3 games. The reason the Cardinals were so … [Read more...]
