London Fletcher to the Seahawks?

The Seattle Seahawks could be in the market for a veteran linebacker since David Hawthorne signed with the Saints yesterday.  London Fletcher is still on the market and would be a great fit for the Seahawks. The current Seahawks linebackers consists of three 2nd year players in Michael Morgan, K.J Wright and Malcom Smith. The Redskins have traded three 1st round picks to the Rams to acquire the 2nd pick in the 2012 NFL draft which would give the Redskins the ability to draft Robert Griffin III.  The Rams always receive the Redskins 2nd round pick in this years draft. The Colts are open to trading Pro Bowler Dwight Freeney according ESPN's Adam Schefter.  The Colts are in the midst of cleaning house and want to dump Freeney and the $19 million dollars in cap space his contract would take up this year.  Freeney is over the age of 30; I am not sure if the Colts will get a high pick in return, but dumping Freeney's high salary would be worth getting a 5th or 6th round pick in return. … [Read more...]

Seahawks re-sign Marshawn Lynch to a 4 year deal

The Seattle Seahawks have re-signed running back Marshawn Lynch to a 4 year $31 million dollar deal.  $18 million of the contract is guaranteed. Chargers Likely to let Vincent Jackson leave in Free Agency

The San Diego Chargers do not feel comfortable using the franchise tag on receiver Vincent Jackson which would pay Jackson nearly $13.7 million dollars in 2012. Chargers general manager A.J. Will the Steelers let Mike Wallace go in free agency?  The Steelers are currently over the salary cap and will not have money to resign Wallace.  The Steelers could use the franchise tag on Wallace, but the Steelers are currently $10 million dollars over the cap; so paying Wallace $9 million dollars in 2012 is out of the question.
