In the Alabama Crimson Tide Spring Game Saturday the front defensive 7 looked solid. The group on both the Crimson and White side put pressure on the quarterback all game long. The group lost a few key players after there national title in 2009 and after watching them today I don't see a drop off in play for 2010. The defense lost a total of 8 players so Saban has his worked cut out of him replacing the talent on that side of the ball. If the Crimson Tide want to repeat as national … [Read more...]
Crimson Tide Make Adjustments To Win the Game
One of the biggest adjustments I saw last night and probably won the game for the Alabama Crimson Tide was there ability to run the football. In the first quarter the Alabama Coaching staff saw there quarterback get sacked 3 times in the first 2 drives. After that 2nd drive Nick Saban's staff started to run the ball almost every play. When the game was finally over the Tide had ran the ball a total of 51 times for 205 yards compared to Texas 28 times for only 81. The reason I say this … [Read more...]
Crimson Tide Looking To End Season Strong
Nick Saban's team needs to finish strong going into the SEC Championship game versus the Florida Gators, but first they must take care of 2 teams before that Championship game. They already have a seat in Atlanta to play the Gators, but if the Alabama Crimson Tide want to be playing the Gators for the National Championship spot they have to beat both Tennessee-Chattanooga and Auburn in there final 2 games. The only game that could hurt the Alabama Crimson Tide would be the rivalry game versus … [Read more...]
How good are the Alabama Crimson Tide?
The Alabama Crimson Tide are loaded and they show it every Saturday when they play, but the scary thing is that they could be better next year. If nobody leaves for the NFL they should of all there starters back next year as well. Nick Saban has done a great job at stocking the shelves with 5 star recruits and he is just in his 3rd year as the coach. The Alabama Crimson Tide have had some tough games though this year. They barely beat Tennessee Volunteers 12-9, but other then that game they … [Read more...]
Alabama Crimson Tide Takes over #1 in the new Polls
It was not surprise today to see the Alabama take over the #1 spot in the new poll that came out today. The Florida Gators did not look great in there win versus Arkansas while Bama looked impressive in there game against South Carolina. I am sure many Gator Fans are upset about this, but I would tend to agree that Nick Saban has his team looking impressive and they should be the number 1 team in the land. Florida and Alabama will play each other this year so there will be no conflict on … [Read more...]
